and your family.

The thing about losing a dog is that you feel the pain for a long time but find you can love another. Lost two long time pets two years ago, still miss them. Have two more3, will never take their places, but love the new ones just the same. Pieper was a special Bruin Fan and we will all miss her.

And I can only hope our bull dog Honey B lives to be that old (they usually don't make 10 but you get my point). 15 years is a great life for a dog but I know that doesn't lessen the pain. Sorry to hear about it.

The bond between man and dog goes back millenia. It's deep in us.

Perhaps when you are through grieving you'll get Pieper 2?

Dogs are REALLY hard to lose. Always gteat memories to look back and remember the good times. A clairvoyant friend told me that dogs often stay in and around their owners and the home that they lived!

Ferdinad,

My dog is like one of my kids. Not looking forward to the inevitable goodbye.

Hang in there, the pain will subside and the memories will always be there

Amazing how much we come to love our pets as part of our family. They truly are a blessing.

I am always reminded that my dogs love me as much as anyone on this earth. That is in their nature. I know what you are feeling. Sorry for your loss
