CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

  • Lettered as corneback in 1979,80,82,83. Was a four-year starter.
  • Ranks 6th in team for career punt returns (53).
  • Tied for 8th in team for career interceptions (13).
  • Played in two Rose Bowl Championship teams. 1983 Rose Bowl and 1984 Rose Bowl.
  • Was drafted in the NFL's 1984 Supplemental Draft (Kansas City Chiefs). Was also a first round draft pick (15th overall) in the 1984 USFL Draft.
  • Played five years professionally (two years in USFL, and three years with Pittsburgh). In 1986, led the AFC in punt returns.
