- Led team to 20 straight wins during 97-98 seasons.
- Conference leader in total offense in career (11,285 yards)
- No. 2 in conference in career passing (10,708 yards)
- Team leader in total offense (11,385), passing (10,708), touchdown passes (68), completions, and attempts for a career.
- Team leader for single-season total offense (3,652 yards) and passing yards (3,470).
- Was also season leader in touchdown passes (25) until surpassed by Drew Olson.
- First round selection (12th pick) in 1999 NFL (Chicago Bears).
