- Led team to a 1975 Pac 10 co-championship and 1976 Rose Bowl victory over Ohio State. (Was named player of the game at the Rose Bowl).
- Led team in scoring in 1975 (78 pts).
- Team went 32-10-3 in his career.
- Ranks 10th in career total offense (4,464 yds).
- Went to the Canadian Football League before joining the NFL Philadelphia Eagles in 1978.
