CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Lettered as quarterback in 1972,73,74,75.
- Served as team captain in 1975.
- Led team to a 1975 Pac 10 co-championship and 1976 Rose Bowl victory over Ohio State. (Was named player of the game at the Rose Bowl).
- Led team in scoring in 1975 (78 pts).
- Team went 32-10-3 in his career.
- Ranks 10th in career total offense (4,464 yds).
- Went to the Canadian Football League before joining the NFL Philadelphia Eagles in 1978.
- Was a member of the 1981 Super Bowl team (Philadelphia Eagles).
ACCOLADES
- Earned consensus All-American honors in 1975.
- Was 7th in 1975 Heisman Trophy voting.
- Team Offensive MVP in 1974 and 75.
- Inducted into UCLA HOF in 1994.
