1946 Season

- End Burr Baldwin earned consensus All-American honors.
- Baldwin, Gene "Skip" Rowland, Ernie Johnson, Cal Rossi, Jack "Moose" Myers, Al Hoisch and Les Steiner were key members of the UCLA team that went 10-0 in the regular season and won the Pacific Coast Conference. Baldwin led the Bruins in receiving that season with 18 catches for 374 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner in a 13-6 victory against USC. Rowland led the team in rushing with 540 yards and averaged 6.3 yards per carry, and Johnson, the left halfback, was the Bruins' leading scorer with 42 points. Rossi was drafted twice to play professionally but never did; Myers enjoyed a pro career with Philadelphia and Los Angeles; and Hoisch returned a kickoff in the Rose Bowl 103 yards for a touchdown, an unbreakable UCLA record.
